The Challenge
Van Michael already had an attractive website, but it was several years old and did not match their new environmental theme. In an industry where fashion and hairstyles are constantly changing, they needed a new website design to keep their image fresh.
Because Van Michael was constantly hiring new salon staff, a content management system was critical to allow the corporate office to make updates as new employees came on board. Frequent, high-quality communication with salon clientele is critical to the Van Michael business, so they needed to continue sending their email newsletter, but they also wanted to add a business blog to capture industry and company news for site visitors and customers who were not on their email marketing list.
Our Solution
We implemented the new website design using a content management system so Van Michael staff could easily update their website. We created a blog to allow staff to publish news without disrupting the main website, and branded it to match the color scheme and look of the rest of the website. We developed a matching email newsletter template to provide a completely consistent theme across all electronic media.
