Smith’s Olde Bar

Smith’s Olde Bar is a classic bar and music venue in Midtown Atlanta, and has been the host to hundreds of music acts through the years.

Well-known artists like David Bowie, Train, Edwin McCain and The Dirty Dozen Brass Band have graced the stage at Smith’s, but the club is best known for its constant, nightly rotation of the best undiscovered musical talent in the Southeast.  Being a bar, Smiths of course offers good food and ample “liquid refreshment”.

The Challenge

Smith’s is a straight-forward, working bar.  They do a lot of business, but they don’t overcharge their patrons and so they had a tight budget.  Because Smith’s is a music venue with multiple stages, it was critical that an events calendar with links to purchase tickets was a part of the new website design.  Because everyone at InnoShare had been to Smith’s may times, and had seen some great music there, we wanted to do credit to this great establishment despite budget limitations.

Our Solution

Smith’s Olde Bar was the second recipient of the “$4k special” – our new fixed-price website design package.  We worked with Smith’s staff to select a template design they liked, we made some modifications, and went on site to get some good web photography.  In the end, we met their budget and exceeded their expectations.
