The Problem

Forms plus had a very basic ecommerce website that looked dated and had very limited reporting, customer and order management capabilities.  When updates were required, web developers needed to make the updates at additional cost.  Forms Plus was also concerned that the appearance of their website was hurting their image and preventing potential customers from placing orders.  The “clunky” back end of their existing website also made it difficult for them to keep track of orders.

Our Solution

In recent years, some very solid open source ecommerce systems have emerged which offer outstanding capabilities for very little to no cost.  We reviewed all of the available products in the marketplace, and determined which would best fit the needs and budget of Forms Plus — In the end, we selected Magento.  To keep costs low, and ensure a professional look and feel, we presented Forms Plus with a variety of template designs and customized the web design they selected with their specific branding.  The solution we created for Forms Plus presents a much more professional look and gives them a robust order and customer management system that they can update themselves.
